On January 21, 2026, the first press conference for the group standard "Canine and Feline Formed Component Analyzer", jointly hosted by the China Veterinary Medical Association and Anlu Medical, with academic support from the Veterinary Laboratory Diagnostics (Small Animal) Specialty Committee, was successfully held in Shenzhen.
Liu Xiuli, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the China Veterinary Medical Association; Long Caihong, First-Level Investigator of the Animal Disease Prevention and Supervision Division of the Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision Administration; Cai Shunping, Senior Veterinarian of the Shenzhen Animal and Plant Disease Prevention and Control Center; Shi Dayou, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the College of Veterinary Medicine of South China Agricultural University; Chen Huoru, Chairman of Shenzhen United Pet Hospital Chain Group; Zhang Qiong, Member of the Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosis (Small Animal) Specialty Committee and Veterinarian of the Department of Internal Medicine and Feline Clinic of the Animal Hospital of China Agricultural University; and many other representatives from industry authorities, academic institutions, clinical frontline and enterprises gathered online and offline to witness the wonderful moment of the group standard release conference.
At the press conference, experts unanimously agreed that the release of the group standard for "Canine and Feline Formed Element Analyzer" will not only help regulate market order and improve the overall technical level of the industry, but also provide strong support for the high-quality development of the industry by improving the objectivity, stability and reproducibility of testing, reducing human error, and improving clinical efficiency.
In the subsequent veterinary laboratory diagnostics workshop, Zhang Qiong, a member of the Veterinary Laboratory Diagnostics (Small Animals) Specialty Committee and a veterinarian in the Department of Internal Medicine and Feline Clinic at the Animal Hospital of China Agricultural University, gave a presentation on the laboratory diagnosis and clinical decision-making for immune-mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA) . Using typical cases, she systematically explained the crucial role of complete blood count, blood smears, and related immunological tests in disease differentiation. She emphasized the importance of making judgments based on a comprehensive review of multiple pieces of evidence within a standardized testing process, and offered professional advice on standardized medication and treatment risk control, providing clinical veterinarians with practically guiding diagnostic and treatment approaches.
The release of the group standard for "Canine and Feline Formed Element Analyzer" is not the end, but the beginning of industry responsibility. This standard is not merely a technical document, but a systematic distillation of clinical practice, engineering capabilities, and quality management experience into an executable, verifiable, and scalable industry consensus, marking a new stage of standardized development in the field of canine and feline formed element testing. As Yang Chun, CEO of Anlu Medical, stated, the core value of the group standard lies not only in unifying technical requirements, but also in answering key questions such as "how to measure, how accurate the measurement is, whether the results are mutually recognized, and whether the quality is stable in the long term."
As a pioneer in AI-powered tangible diagnostics, Anlu Medical will continue to invest in product innovation, standard setting, and technology popularization with a rigorous scientific attitude and long-term vision, driving the high-quality development of the animal diagnostics industry through innovation. We also look forward to more industry partners, research institutions, and clinical organizations joining us in building a collaborative framework to jointly promote the continuous improvement and implementation of group standards and improve the overall level of the animal diagnostics industry.
The first launch event for the group standard "Canine and Feline Formed Element Analyzer" concluded successfully in Shenzhen. Starting in Shenzhen, the promotion and exchange of the group standard will continue nationwide, with the next stop being Beijing, Jinan, Hangzhou, Chengdu, and other cities. We hope that through multi-location collaboration and in-depth exchanges, we can discuss the implementation and practical application of the standard with more industry experts, research institutions, and frontline clinicians, jointly promoting the "Canine and Feline Formed Element Analyzer" group standard to take root and flourish on a wider scale, truly serving clinical practice, and helping the animal diagnostics industry move towards a new stage of more standardized, reliable, and high-quality development.
